When was the last time you had Fast food?

I was wondering how long has it been. and what you had?

I think it was Mc d's and I had 2 double cheeseburgers on 1 bun. Been almost 2 months. I remember way back when, I was doing work at three different McD's stores in 1 day and got 3 free meals.

Wendy's in mid July. Before that would have been Chinese.

Over a year ago and it was Taco Bell (by necessity, driving 500 miles w/ nothing to eat).. I pretty much don't eat fast food unless absolutely, positively, necessary.

Last Big Mac in March or April of 1994.
Soon after that I underwent by-pass surgery and then became vegetarian. Never look back.
Tried Taco Bell vegetarian stuff a couple of times last year, too much carbs, so good bye to that too. Occasionally a pizza slice.

Tim Horton's yesterday - yummie Dutchie Donut AND a cheese croissant. 72 carbs. Forgot to take insulin with me. Spiked from 7.2 to 21.2 mmol! I only did it as I had just recovered from a nasty stomach bug during which I could not eat for several days and I could not resist celebrating. Besides I felt weak - that's my excuse.

That's it for another while though.

Two nights ago. I had a leg and a thigh with 1/2 cup mashed potatoes and a bit of gravy, 1/2 cup of cole slaw, and a biscuit from KFC. It was soooo good! I had a very stressful day and it was such a comfort. We eat Wendy's or Subway, sometimes Taco Bell, about 2x a month. The chicken didn't seem to hurt too much, I was a little higher than normal, 2 hours later, but was good before I went to bed.

Two weeks ago just after being diagnosed. Cheeseburger and small fry at Burger King. Just today resisted stopping there again.

If you had asked me before last Thursday, I would have told you I didn't remember. I actually went to the hospital to see my Mom and I was hungry. I circled the block twice and could only find a Carl's Jr. I had a burger and fries. Ok fine.....now I admitted it. I will never do it again.

For me it was Taco Bell/Pizza Hut (I had the pizza) and it was last night. Yumm yumm. And I'll have some tomorrow for at least one meal. Not sure where or what I'll have though.
