When my Bg is good, my world is mostly good.
Getting this DP under control is really a PITA!
miketurcoI switch my med schedule around and the dp adjusts itself to work around the meds. I've gotten dp mostly under control but not completely. Right now I take 6mg glip at 7am and that mostly does the trick. I think I'm going to have to move that to 6 or 6:30.

Glad the weekend is here :)

Hi Deus, I'm in the same boat and have registered here just so that I can, hopefully, talk to you. I've been on Lantus (16 to 20u at 8pm) and Apidra (1u per 5-6 grams of carbs) for about a year and my latest A1C is 5.5. All great except for the last few months I've been extremely tired, lacking any motivation or drive. It looked like T deficiency but the numbers are fine. What's the latest on Lantus?
DeusXMTiredness and lack of motivation could also be symptoms of depression. If you're concerned about Lantus, you could look at one of the alternative basals. Levemir is broadly similar to Lantus although it doesn't work for everyone, or there's the older synthetic basals (Insulatard, Humalin I) although these aren't as flat-acting as Lantus. There's also the very old animal-derived Lente insulins...and of course, there's the pump.
