| Still thinkin about weight loss Hi everyone, Just got back from Colorado; it was absolutely beautiful! Even though I went rafting, zip-lining, horse-back riding, and a lot of walking I still gained four lbs. during the week. As a reminder, I am 5'4' and 195. I've been Type II for the last three years. After reading a lot of responses from another forum, I found that a lot of people gain weight while taking cymbalta. (I take it for ADD and anxiety) I was diagnosed six months ago after going to an ADD center and was tested for three years. I know when I moved up here to the Houston area and started teaching here, I weighted 145-150. That means I have gained 50 lbs. After school starts (in two weeks, YIKES!!!!!!! ) I am exhausted, no energy, too, too, much to do at school. I know I need to lose weight bad!! With vacation (Col.) and being with my grand-boys I haven't gotten into a good routine of going to the gym. I'm going tody. I walk 30-40 min. at 3.5-3. mph. I'm almost obsessed with losing wt. My doc. will not give me any diet pills even for a month (I asked him) Any responses on the Cymbalta and wt. loss? I take duetact for my diabetes. There are so many of you that take metaformin, that I wonder if it's better that the duetact. I was told on this forum that my duetact is a combination of two meds.
Thanks for any ideas or advice,
Linda |
