| | Name for Diabetes Documentary I just wanted to let everyone know that I have appreciated everyones input up to this point. I want a name for this Documentary so I can stop referring to it as "Diabetes Documentary". If everyone is interested I would like all the members to have a chance to name it!
How it Will Work:
I have some options as part of a Poll that you can vote on.
If you have your own in mind, Post it and it can be included in the voting.
The option that has the most Votes/Feedback will be the name of the Documentary
Thanks again and I just wanted everyone to have some part in the Documentary even if it is this small.

| | Yes, I am keeping track on my own due to not knowing how to change the poll. The Voting: Type: Unknown = 1 vote
Diabetes: In the life of = 0 Votes
Inject This = 1 Vote
Highs and Lows: The Rollercoaster of Living with Diabetes = 2 Votes
Hopefully the votes won't fall off of a Box Truck
Feel free to suggest other names or continue voting on the ones already posted

| | I saw a chilling piece on diabetes done by the CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Company) called, now get this:
"Death in Pieces - Diabetes"
Or something along that line.
You can google it and see the clip on the site.
It turns out it is actually an affirmative piece, that it is controllable and you can live a normal life.
But the man interviewed was quoted as saying, "my Doctor told me diabetes was, "death in pieces", that if not treated, I would die blind, in the dark, of kidney failure after having my feet amputated."
It's an excellent piece and worth watching for background info...
Still though, the title still sends chills through me and I can't get the image out of my head...wonder why I"m still getting either angry or depressed about this since being dx'd.
Sheesh...
OK - just googled it and here is the link....enjoy: http://archives.cbc.ca/IDC-1-75-702-...iabetes/clip13
