I just wanted to let everyone know of my current progress.

I have purchased my Editing Software and my Equipment.

I will be using a Panasonic DVX100 and I will be editing with Sony Vegas 6. I have purchased Wireless Microphones for interviews and I have a Shotgun Microphone for street interviews. I will probably start putting ads in the paper and craigslist searching for local diabetics and will be stopping by Doctors offices and getting waivers within the next month. I am hoping to start shooting by the beginning of June.

Documentaries do not have scripts but I do need a layout of what is going to happen in what order to make the process go a little more smoothly. I would like for those of you who offered to do some research on equipment, studies and general info to be portrayed to send me what you have within the next month.

NOTE:

Those of you that do research and help me with layouts and messages to be portrayed will be get a SCREEN CREDIT in the film. For the info that is used I will send a form showing that you will have a credit in the film for either a "SPECIAL THANKS", "RESEARCH" or "PRODUCTION ASSISTANT". Just either post here or send me a PM with any questions.
