Still hanging in Honeymoon

Had my regular 3-monthly visit to the endo last week. Two years since diagnosis and the A1c is still hovering at 6.5% - it was 7.5% at diagnosis and between 6.0 - 6.5 ever since I changed diet. So I carry on with the Metformin (3x500mg/day) and no insulin yet. Doc says go away for 6 months or phone if the levels go crazy in the meantime.

So the diet is working, but I miss the fresh fruit and (occasional) helping of good old unhealthy fries!
