| | Diabetes and Life insurance was it easy or difficult to get this? What's your age; what is your mthly premium, amount of coverage, for how long, term or whole?
I am 33 YO was quoted $500k for 20 yrs @ $95 pm (convertible to whole after 20 yr--no med exam).

| | | In Canada, so far the only way I can get life insurance is group life insurance through work. I have yet to find an insurance provider outside of this that would be willing to insure me. Makes me sad.

| | | Beth, i lucked out..... my parents insured me as a kid, (hmmm, maybe they were planning something?!?!?) before i was diabetic.
Because of that, I still have the insurance. However, we were told if i was to cancel it and try to find some somewhere else, i'm screwed.... or paying through the nose.
You should check with your parents (I'm sure you have already, being a smart gal and all) and see if they already have you on one you don't know about! |
