I drink rye, Jim Beam in fact. I can eat more carbs and have a drink after dinner and it keeps my numbers down.
I drink a few more if I wish and no lows. Told my nutritionist I should become a drunk.

I don't do it often only when camping but sometimes I think maybe I should have a after dinner drink.
Went on vaction last week, got drunk every other night and it worked out pretty darn good. Would check my BG prior to bed and when awake about 6 hours later. No problems and great numbers.
