hooray for me!

Just wanted to share some good news with those who help me to understand and cope with the big D. I was diagnosed in Dec with an A1C of 14 and just got back my most recent test 2 days ago at an A1C of 5.7!!!! My last was 6.7 and I thought I was good there but you guys helped me to understand the implications of the numbers and I set myself a goal of under 6, and here I am! Yea!!! (now if only there was something I could do to stop my immune system from destroying my thyroid gland...)

P.S. I am also on Levemir & Lovolog (as Novorapid is called in the US) Great results - for the time being.
