| I don't want to seem like a know it all, considering I don't.
Today I toyed with low-carb. I normally eat a lot of bread, prior to diagnosis I would eat so much carbs it was crazy.
I was able to eat my lunch without an injection because I removed a lot of what would normally spike me. Some said a salad should have had bolus to compensate for it regardless, I found in that one instance that maybe I escaped barely without it but could have maybe done with a unit or 2 of novorapid - 50% less than I would normally use.
Is there anything you can do dietry-wise to help?
I'm way new to all of this, so I'm not really offering advice.. perhaps somewhat curious as to your situation. |
