    pre natals

    can i take fertility blend as a pre natal? im type 1 and came off the pill in december, Im wondering if this better than regular pre natal vitamins any thoughts

    i have no idea about that, but if you are planning a pregnancy you should be taking 5 mg of folic acid...

    I was just in vitamin shop and the lady recomended that instead of the pre natals i had been taking....they are a lot more expensive but said they would help get me on track quicker as i was on bc. Im easily talked into spending more money so thought i would do some checking up first. they do have folic acid in them.

    yes but how much folic acid? all multis have folic acid. most prenatal multis have around 1mg.
    diabetics who are planning a pregnancy are strongly advised to take 5 mg, which is usually only available by prescription.
    i would ask your endo/ob before trying anything new or different...
