Hi and welcome. I don't eat the same thing every day and I didn't ttc'g either. I need some variety (mostly so I don't get bored) and the variety nutrient-wise is better for you anyway. That said, do you know what foods tend to be a problem for you? How often do you test during the day and when? What are you averaging during those times. It just sounds like they want you to think things through more thoroughly. I'm impressed by your current A1C considering the IVF cycles since those really shoot some women's A1C's thru the roof! So kudos to you. What do you tend to eat snackwise? I found out that I wasn't eating enough carbs once I was pregnant and had to triple my carb intake (I was consuming a low moderate amount of carbs daily since low carbing's better for blood sugars and hubby's diabetes too) and I found I had to eat something small every couple of hours to not have problems with lows and to make sure my body had enough nutrients digested at a time to send to the baby (but I have gastroparesis). I found good snacks that didn't affect my blood sugars were: cheese, small portions of nuts (but not nut butters, those shoot me up b/c of the high fat content I think), small portions of berries (never have to bolus for those), hummus and chunks of veggies (especially cucumber, only bolus a unit or two and my I:C was 1:8 then). Best of luck to you and I hope you're successful soon
Fawn
