Holy Macrole

So someone told me that one of the fastest acting carbohyrdate to counter low's with is honey. Always curious, I tried this last night. My sugar jumped 80 points in 5 minutes and over 350 points by the time I woke up.

Holy ever loving Jesus. They weren't kidding.

Ok, so here's how I figure it...............

If you need carbs to allow your brain to function properly, then adding carbs adds brain power

but you two, Cinn and CiC are gonna blow your brain out at this rate.............

>>>>>>>>>mother answering her children as they point at Cinn and Cic<<<<<<<<<

"Don't point at them, dears. It's not polite. They're just carbalicts"

Try reading the post again. It was obviously a joke.

Although it bounced you numbers around a good bit, thanks for posting your experiment with the honey. It isn't something that I would try, but the information might be useful to someone.

Relatedly: There have been a few charlatans who promoted "natural" honey as a treatment or "cure" for everything from Arthritis to warts. Yes, some wags have even suggested it for diabetes.

If you go by the glycemic index alone ...

glucose = 100
honey = 62
table sugar = 64
fructose = 22
maltose = 105

He said some rude remarks with a Cicontention twist to a Moderator and was given a ten day ban. Just before his ban he wanted his account deleted, so I wouldn't be looking for his return.
