I tried Apidra

I tried Apidra in my pump the other day and I don't like it. I heard it was fast acting but it hasn't been for me, in fact my sugars have been terrible the past two days since I started it. I thought I was becoming a bit resistant to Humalog but now that I have tried the Apidra I know the Humalog works better. Oh well, I'm always up for trying something new, but this wasn't for me. Good thing I got a sample from my docs office.

I've talked with people that Apidra has done wonders for them and then some that it's done nothing for them. I think it's like all drugs, if your body doesn't like it, it rejects it.

That's very interesting. I switched from Humalog to Apidra (because of free samples) and I didn't even notice a difference. It's possible the Apidra works marginally faster, but not a drastic difference.

Exercise and site rotation can help with resistance, but I'm sure you know that. Stress also elevates blood sugar levels and can make me run high even if I'm eating well.

I was thinking about asking for a sample next time I go to the endo.
