Glucometer like breathalyzer?

Why cant they make a breathalyzer that checks your blood sugar lever? They check your blood alcohol level.....

Because glucose isn't excreted through your breath like alcohol is.

Glucose isn't volatile like alcohol. Even if it were your breath would be contaminated as it passed through your mouth and give a false reading.

I wonder if they could do it for ketones though... it's volitile enough for people with the right genes to smell it!

cuz that's messy and if you dont need to pee then you can't test !
