I don't have the results from the blood creat or the creat. clearance test yet. |
First - your microalbumin is irrelvant here. If you are spilling protien, of course you are spilling microalbumin(uAlbumin). uAlbumin is a smaller protien. If you open up the flood gates 3 feet wide 3 foot wide fish will come out and so will all the fish <3 feet (yes I heart you, and yes its a bad analogy but hopefully the point is made).
Your Protienurea is the most concerning. Run in normal BGL range, and get chemstrips to make sure the amount you are spilling goes down with better control. Eventually when you stop spilling protien concentrate on the uAlbumin. uAlbumin requires a lab.
Your blood levels will be of great help here. If your Creatinine and BUN are with in acceptable levels I'd say you will be fine if you tighten up. If they are high you have damage occuring.
Was this a fasting test? (<--this is important) Are you on an ACE inhibitor? Or the other one, I forget what it's called, but help protect the kidneys.
