I just found this news report saying there is a rare form of type 1 which needs to use pills to control.

It's not type 1. It's a condition called "Permenant Neonatal Diabetes Mellutis."

There has been a lot of discussion on the forum about this.
There is a lot of research being done in the UK at the penisular sp! medical school Exeter.
It all depends on your genes as to whether you can be helped or not.
