Question Low energy & Short fuse

I was just wondering if anyone else has the following problems? 1. somtimes I have no energy regardless of my sugar level. 2. The littlest things will set me off in a complete rage. Just looking for some insight.

I hear you. I new at this, but yeah i get that too. I used to have a very long fuse. Not so anymore.
My guess is that there are many different factors all working together here, both physically and psychologically.

I get sleepy too. Often feel like going for a nap just after lunch, but if i do i sleep for hours.
Hm, i am just about to move in together with my partner, we havent lived together since i got diagnosed. I am really trying to work thorugh my depression and diabetes issues before that, to try to avoid being snappy. it a good source of motivation.

Yes I know what you're talking about. I have a very short fuse. I don't know what to tell people at work. I wish there was study on this, so I could email them and tell them don't take it personal. Then I could say see it's not the real me, it's the diabetes.

Truthfully, I've been that way more lately, myself. I don't think it's Diabetes though. I DO think that it's life....

We don't get the time we should with family/friends, etc. The good times seem very short-lived & the work & tougher things seem to go on forever....Then there's the wonderful annoyances along the way - People acting rude, selfish, or stupid, co-workers trying to take credit for something someone else did, bosses being overly demanding and underpaying people for their talents, us having to do the legwork of our da** insurance companies & having to fight for coverage for things that we should be able to get & that would benefit us, etc....The list is long & goes on & on!

Yes, I've had a very short fuse, lately. Not sure why, but like I said, I don't think it's Diabetes related....I think it's just Life.

Have you had your thyroid checked? Before when my sugars were out of control I was short fused as well and then I had better control when I was pregnant and then just had a horrible time with my anger and blowing up over little things. I was checked and discovered I had a hypo thyroid and ever since then I don't get angry very often at all.

Yes I have a thyroid disease. I take the pills everyday. When I get my A1C done they check my thyroid too and everything is ok. I still get pissed off very easily - It's the diabetes.

There is a supplement called D-Ribose. This has an amazing effect on those who have their BG under control and have no other reason for low energy levels.

D-Ribose is fantastinc for those who have had damage done to their hearts and lack any stamina.

D-Ribose is natural and can work wonders very quick in this particular problem.
