trying to find a protector for insulin cartridges is next to impossible, for a reasonable price... and one that can hold the ones in the fridge, where they tend to fall and shatter... my vials used to fall but never broke, i've dropped a few humalog cartridges and they cracked but never broke to where i had to toss them, but the lantus ones must be made of weak glass cuz they crack, shatter, break, you name it, it happens when they fall...

i'm thinking of creating my own with some stuff from the original packaging and some stuff from the crafts department at wal-mart...

I suppose you could just put some tape around the bottle when you open them. That should stop the breakage.

yeah, that's one way to do it, it's just not that chic and fun... anything to make this disease more fun to deal with...
