Over 1200 that is what the dr's or hospital meter would only read up too, so I was over that.....when diagnoised

And under 20 or LO, that is all my meter would read.....so i have been both ends of the dangerous dangerous spectrum and am living to tell about it LOL....

I was dx in 1945 so I have no idea what my BGL was then. I know it was off the charts (if there were any charts then???) I had all the classic symptoms of T1 for several months before I was dx.

I was diabetic for about 40 years before glucose monitors were sold. After using the monitors I have seen a high in the 500's and a low in the teens. The ambulance crew pulled me out of the low and I signed papers that allowed me to stay home afterwards. I was OK the next morning. I have had many lows in my past before the glucose monitors existed.

The info above says I am T 1.5. That is incorrect. I am T1. How do I change that?

Richard

Well when I was diagnosed my blood sugar was 55.5mmol Closest I've came to that was about 30mmol a year later.

I've never had a super bad low that needed medical attention (knock on wood). The lowest my meter has ever read is about 2.0mmol.

560/31.1 the day I was "Caught." It had been nearly 6 hours since I'd eaten at that point.

Not sure what the lowest was since I checked at 20 minutes after having about 20oz of Coke, but at that point I had crawled back up to 52/2.8

Last year "before the pump" I was 19 one time and didnt know it. I had expected a normal BG!
I was 06 one time when I was in the hospital as a kid. I told that nurse I was low!!! The nurse ran out, made me a peanut butter and jelly grahm cracker sandwhich with juice and I was in the 400's the next morning!
Over 1200 at diagnosis.
