| | | Random adrenaline rush - caused by insulin maybe? twice in the past two weeks i have had random adrenaline rushes. Once when I was asleep I woke up and my eyes were wide awake and it felt like the middle of the day for me. Today I was eating dinner i felt the same thing, just got wide awake. I don't do any drugs or anything, so the only thing i could think was maybe the insulin?

| | | Or just your body just getting excited? Not everything is diabetes related.

| | | When I was 1st DX'd I had that feeling once - I woke up and thought I was floating. I thought it may have been my body adjusting to the insulin, has not happened since.

| | A hypoglycemic reaction is largely an adrenalin rush. It could have easily been that dream about ... pumping, yea, pumping.
When I played tournament chess, one thing we always watched for and tried to control were adrenalin rushes. If you saw your opponent get one, you'd just sit there or get up and leave for 20 minutes and let it wear off. Usually he'd be toast after that.
