Chubby Cheeks ?

Hi all, Its been a long time ... I am back from a real long vacation.

The thing I observe lately is that I feel skinny and I dont have those chubby cheeks.... which I used to have before diagnosis.

I eat fairly well and even after long hours of sleep I dont feel that great refreshing feeling (after sleep ), like I used to feel before dxed.

any body has any thoughts or suggestions on this ?

thx.

Is this anyway related to Celiac disease or any other autoimmune disorders ?.

I am not gaining weight even after using lots of insulin.

Remember when you dring lots of beer and wake up in the morning after long sleep, your face is plumped up and you feel good.... I dont experience that anymore... trying to find out if this is related to any disorder.

thanks.

Personally, I feel bad after drinking lots of beer and waking up bloated.

I don't know that anyone can give good advice without more info on your bg levels? How have they been tracking? fasting and postprandial?

I have no problems with my BG levels, they are pretty much in the range (60-180) most of the times and my A1c's are 5.9 and 5.2, I have another test due this october 10th or something.

What I meant from above question was , is there any way that your body doesn't absorb the food you eat in spite of good bg levels.

thanks.
