Blood work ordered...

I was ordered my regular A1C and some in depth bleeding time tests and so-forth. WHen do you reccomend to take this test? Is fasting absolutely convenient, necessary?

For A1C fasting isn't necessary. I'll usually fast though in case they want to run some other tests as well. When my dad was on Coumadin, he had to avoid leafy green veggies and a few other things that "naturally" thin the blood; therefore, i'd assume eating these foods prior to testing might alter bleeding tests in the average person as well.
