Reasonable life insurance Hi- my husband is a type 1 diabetic and has been for about 20 years (he's 33). We searched and searched for life insurance and just found a company with great rates taht didnt deny him- AAA life insurance. I think you have to be a member of AAA (roadside assistance) to qualify, but that only costs about $50/year and is a great service to have anyway. We applied for the life insurance over the phone and were very honest about my husband's condition (juvenile diabetes, macular edema, adhesive capsilitis)they quoted us a rate of about $120/month for $200,000 term (20 year) life insurance pending a medical exam. For the exam, they sent someone to our house to draw blood and collect urine samples. I thought for sure my husband would get turned down or get a higher rate than quoted, but they gave us insurance for the quoted rate. before that, the best rate we hd been quoted was $450/month for $25,000 whole life insurance! Anyway, here's the link for AAA if anyone is interested www.aaalife.com |
