Smile Reasonable life insurance

Hi- my husband is a type 1 diabetic and has been for about 20 years (he's 33). We searched and searched for life insurance and just found a company with great rates taht didnt deny him- AAA life insurance. I think you have to be a member of AAA (roadside assistance) to qualify, but that only costs about $50/year and is a great service to have anyway. We applied for the life insurance over the phone and were very honest about my husband's condition (juvenile diabetes, macular edema, adhesive capsilitis)they quoted us a rate of about $120/month for $200,000 term (20 year) life insurance pending a medical exam. For the exam, they sent someone to our house to draw blood and collect urine samples. I thought for sure my husband would get turned down or get a higher rate than quoted, but they gave us insurance for the quoted rate. before that, the best rate we hd been quoted was $450/month for $25,000 whole life insurance! Anyway, here's the link for AAA if anyone is interested www.aaalife.com

i've been offered life insurance from my bank and my credit card company, i have been reluctant to fill out the form because there's always a question about diabetes on it... and if i were to fill it out and get rejected, i'd have to tell the next company i apply for insurance with about the fact that i was rejected before... this sucks!

so far the only one i've found that looks good for me is National Bank... i'm hoping i can find something from them... but it is hard to find one... at this rate, i'll have to wait until i'm over 50 to get one that asks no medical questions...
