Did my liver do this?

I went to bed last night around 150....it was a really busy, active day, so for me that would normally mean I would wake up around 100.
I woke up at some point in the night and I was shaking uncontrolably....I thought I was just really, really cold. I vaguely remember thinking that if I didn't warm up I'd never get back to sleep. I think this went on for close to a half an hour before I fell back asleep.
Then I woke up this morning at 280!

The thing is, I wake up once or twice every night of my life. I tend to be fairly coherent, and I ALWAYS look at the clock. I'm looking back on this event last night and noticing that I never looked at the clock, never tried to do anything about feeling so cold...normally I'd get up and put on some socks or something if I were cold.
I'm thinking I must have been low, and somehow my mind thought the shaking was being cold....and my friendly liver kept me alive, but went a tad bit overboard.
Do you think I'm right here?

I think you may be right. A busy active day can lower my BGL for hours later. The shaking, cold and vague thinking can all be symptoms of a low. Looks like you have a working if overeager liver.
