One Touch InDuo meter

anyone still use these? my battery died in the doser and they say it is not replaceable. has anyone replaced this battery? or better yet, anyone know where I can get another unit? any help is appreciated

rzrbks is the only one I know of here that used the INDUO. Expect he might be on tomorrow. He does not have internet access at home.

I dont use a Induo, so I have no real experience with it, but.. Alot of the times when something has batteries that are not replaceable, normally the batteries are soldered onto the circuit board ( most of the time they are watch batteries ).. About as simple as it gets to replace if you play with electronics..

Though I'm sure I dont have to say it, I wouldnt tear it apart to find out without a back-up.. Take the cover off and see what ya got..

I got tired of the whole watch battery thing a long time ago, using a UltraSmart now that uses AAA's...

The molded plastic of the Induo was destroyed by the time I got to the battery But I am pretty sure it can be done. Best of luck. I miss mine terribly.
