| Insulin hitting the stomach A certain amount of insulin (novorapid), whether through a bolus or a few hours basal without food, can leave me feeling quite queasy in the stomach and a kind of tingling sensation in my torso sometimes.
This used to happen now and then with injection therapy (lots of the time in mornings before meal) but is more common now with the pump. Doesn't seem related to low or high symptoms, just the presence of insulin. It's not terrible but I wonder if there is an explanation for it or things I can do?
I usually cope just by eating something... and that's fine. Except now I am now trying to fast for periods for basal testing and it's more of a problem, not sure how much of it I can/should put up with for extended periods.
