Exclamation Insurance question:

Hi all,

Recently I got a mail from my current insurance company "Blue-Cross blue shield " of Ohio, saying that since I moved to a new state (Georgia, moved end of previous year) , my exisitng insurance will be terminated by May 15th and I have to apply new with the Blue cross blue shield of Georgia, for new premium rates and new plan.

The mail even said that, the time I was on Blue cross blue shield insurance of OHIO will be considered as a waiting time while applying with the new GEORGIA insurance.

Is there anything I need to be concerned about ?.

The thing is I change states, for every couple of years (software contracting ...), and I pay for insurance my self.

Anybody know of any good insurance policies I can apply, to be valid through out USA ? instead of individual states ?.

They just sent the notice, after I spent $1100.00 from my pocket, and I guess I have to spend it again with the new policy

I am very new to this insurance thing... dxed beginning of 2007 and not sure which would be a best plan for insurance.

Your advice is appreciated.

thanks,
Chinku.
