What does MDI stand for? I assume it is like a Novolog pen...

MDI = multiple daily injections

Don't worry, it took me a while to figure that out too.

Other common acronyms on the site:
dx = diagnosed, diagnosis
np = nurse practitioner
ymmv = your mileage may vary

I'm sure there are others but I'm not awake enough to remember then just now. Maybe others will jump in.
