| | | daily BG range I think I asked the same question when I first joined. Perhaps I should have used a poll.
Anywho, I'm again getting curious what BG range T1/T1.5 people "typically" have... so I'll start a poll.

| | I probably also should ask people what approach they use... what has worked best, and what "just doesn't work".
What works for me: - small meals;
- large meals when I can guesstimate portions; record large was est. 240g CHO, although I did hit ~180 mg/dL at 4-hr post;
- whole foods;
- bolus-shaping by mixing rapid, R, and N according to food.
What doesn't work: - stress and anger, including listening to Rush Limbaugh;
- caffeine;
- ignoring food allergies;
- going too long without eating;
- exposure to cold drops me like crazy (might try smaller morning basal this next winter);
- showering with IOB;
- I've given up the rice milk, although I like frozen Rice Dream enough to try now and again, using a pre-bolus of rapid;
- I still need to get a handle on exercise.

| | | I'll be honest, I don't worry much any more if I'm less that 50/2.7 off at 2 hr reading, I just bolus for it and waway I go. Been doing this for about a year now and A1c has stayed consistently between 5.5 and 5.9.
I am rarely more than 50/2.7 pts off. more comon is 10-25/.5-1.4 but then have been all over the place since knee surgery.
