| | | It's how much insulin you need in one day. Mine is around 80units.

| | | Tdd Total daily dosage (TDD) is the sum of the dayily basal and bolus insulins. I am a pumper and there is an option on my pump that allows me to see my TDD for the last two weeks or so, one day at a time. My average TDD is 40 units. If I decrease my carb intake I will need less insulin and my TDD will become smaller. As the TDD is reduced then my weight will also be reduced. The fewer carbs we eat the less insulin we need and the more weight we will lose.
Richard

| | | My daily total on the pump has averaged 70 units.
I have gained a few pounds and ate way to many carbs lately and somedays the numbers are more than 70.
I am working on lowering the carbs and exercising more , so that as Richard says, less insulin, from less carbs, so loose more weight. |
