We finally got around to finding out how to order my meds threw the mail and today I got 3 months worth (well it will last longer then that by a month I believe and maybe a bit longer for fast acting! but this is how my Dr ordered it.)
other then that nothing has really changed and were doing pretty good.I am keeping my BS under 200 on most days now! YAY!

| | What are the two fast acting insulins out of interest? I see your using the Lantus SoloStars disposables, i am loving mine . At least they make pretty patterns . Your gono need a bigger fridge just to keep pens in , good to hear that things are getting better.

| | | Novolog Flexpen and Humalog Kwikpen
for what ever reasson seems to work best if I rotate them. ( my dr's idea and it worked!) I went from going over 300/400 even when I ate something very low carbs to staying under 200!) I actully had pizza last week 3 slices and my highest after was 250( I know really high but was amazing for me as before I would of went OVER 500) I was able to get my BS down under 200 pretty quick. Not to fast but I didnt go to bed that night over 200 either. So I was happy. I don't normally eat pizza, pasta and such so that was a nice treat!

| | | Love the markers, part of my job is encouraging folks to use mail order for 3 month supplies. The biggest objection seems to be getting insulin by mail. We do send it on cold pack in hot weather. Was it necessary for yours to be sent cold pack?
Glad to hear you are doing better. It is always a great feeling to be able to have something just not and then that we have not been eating for some time. I know I will buy a single slice a pizza at the mall sometimes to keep my sugar up since I do not usually walk a lot. It always taste so good. |

| | I rather like the "Bath and Body Works" ribbon. I think those works are more for the body than the bath...
Glad to hear that you're making progress. You mentioned that more than one type of rapid works better for you... how so? (I'm just curious, not doubting. Note my signature.)
