Many, many thanks...

to those of you who have put so much emphesis on basal testing. I'm so glad I heeded your advice, so glad I did it.
I've got a nasty stomach bug, I haven't been able to consume anything other than diet 7-up and sugar free jello for almost 24 hours, yet my bg is just sitting still and behaving. It makes me almost feel d-free.
The last time I had a stomach bug with D was a bg nightmare that almost landed me in the hospital. It's so much better this way!

Holly, glad that you got your basal insulin right and that you are now seeing the benefits of that sort of tight control. Sorry, on the other hand that you had to get a nasty stomach bug. Hope you soon feel 100% better.

Well done Holly. Yeah, basal testing is so important, like all the other kinds of tests we have to do. We will reap the benefits if we do things correctly.
Hope that stomach bug takes it's leave quickly.
