Blood sugar & smoking pot

I've enjoyed smoking pot for five years now, and I have come to the conclusion that it lowers my blood sugar. I believe it may be due to an increase in heart rate. I recommend a glass of juice. And to test and re-assess if a snack is needed. Or just have a snack with a bolus.

any thoughts? do other people experience lowered blood sugar??

I wouldn't condone any drug use, let alone with diabetes.

I also believe it lowers BG, which helps to explain the hunger. The only way to know is to check your BG before and during, and do this each time until you have a clear pattern established.

There are better ways to lower your bg. The pros do not out weigh the negatives when regarding such substances. My suggestion: walk away from it and find a better hobby.

Lower my BGs and awareness at the same time? Sounds like a plan!

Your first question in the forum is about BG levels and smoking pot?

Are you able to check your BS after smoking pot ?

This subject has been discussed ad nauseum. If anyone wants information on the subject, you can just do a search.
