It does come around.

I used to be a smart person. To the point of being a smart *** I'm sure. When I would get to work in the AM the first thing I would see was the black board where you could read about anything that broke down durring the night. That was my job. I was on the crew that would fix whatever was broke. Alot of times , what was on the board, would not be worded right or spelled right. I would wipe it off and put it back like it was supposed to be. I let everybody know that people see that board, people who don't know us, and they will think we are all stupid. I don't post very often, it takes too long. The words, even the little ones, look like they are not spelled right. I got new glasses but it does not help. I have read much of what you guys have written on this site and god you people know alot. I can't take charge of something if I can't learn. Anyway, I'm done crying now.
Jim

It's funny . . . I was a secretary for many years, and extremely good w/spelling and grammar. It used to bother me how the highly paid people couldn't spell, etc. as well, and I can spot a typo in a second! However, even on my last thread, I used a wrong word! It's come around to me some too!!

Jim, you feel free to post anytime you want, without worry about spelling or how something sounds. You're right, you can't take charge of something if you can't learn....so ask questions and look around and I guarantee you'll learn a lot. I know I have in the time i've been here. Before the forum, I thought my life was over after being diagnosed with diabetes, now thanks to these good people, I realize its just another chapter in my life story.

Certainly none of us are perfect, and no one is here to judge you, just to help in any way we can. I work for doctors, surgeons actually, and you wouldn't believe the grammar mistakes they make. We're all just human.

By the way, you're obviously a smart person, or you wouldn't be taking the time to visit the forum and learn more about your diabetes! There are no dummies here!

I know what it's like not to be able to use my vision Jim. Once when I was out at night in the car, the power in the area went out. I couldn't see squat and had to phone my wife to come get me. It was rather discouraging.

I know a lot because I've been through a lot. I've made more mistakes than most ever will.

Here's wishing you better glasses, or a better way to see better. Like Linda said, don't worry about your spelling ok?! When I misplace my glasses, I have to laugh at myself because I can't see well enough to find them. I do have a couple spare bad pairs though that help me find the good ones.

I used to worry about every typo, grammar faux-pas...you name it...

I've made enough mistakes to relax a little bit and give myself a break. This isn't a college thesis. I try, but I've left a number of goofs after the "time ran out" on the edit button.
