Is this bad?

Ok i hit a major bad point in my life...just got married lost my job months ago and we are BROKE and i mean BROKE@! since money is soo short i have had to cut back on many things such as food, supplies, etc. So i haven't been eating much and my sugars are still a mess and i refuse to give myself more insulin cause its too much money..... i just needed to vent...i'm not trying to hurt myself i just see no other option....unless its free i cant afford it and nothing is free so i give up....

You might also want to talk to someone in your local Social Services office. Because of your diabetes and financial situation, you might be eligible for medicaid, food stamps or some sort of financial assistance.

I agree with Owlyn and MsEroxann, this is the sort of situation
that you pay all that tax for. If it's there use it, don't be embarassed, it's not your fault, millions of people all around the world are in the same situation so you are not alone.

Tricia.........sorry you're going through a difficult time right now. Being a "newlywed" is supposed to be a happy time for you, not a stressful one. I pray things turn around for you very soon!

Sorry to hear things are tough at this point in time.
You don't want to play with your health and if you have dietary needs and require insulin you shouldn't play around with those.
There are agencies/institutions that will help. Use them. You want to be feeling good when things do turn around.

Congrats on the wedding.

You're husband will want you around for a long time, please check into the above suggestions to get the things you need. It may seem like a temporary situation...but poor control can have lasting effects later on.

What kind of meter do you use?
