Sick of Diabetes!!

Well here's the thing:
I want to go to the gym, but before I go i like to have my sugars sitting at 9mmol. Everyday I have been having perfect sugars and by this i mean none over 8 so I have been happy about that.
But at 6pm every night I have gone low! and becasue my gym is next to wkr and I live half an hour away from home I usually choose to treat the hypo and drive home
Its frustrating me so much as all I want to do is work out a little, but I dont wan to run high all day.,
Ive even tried lowering my lantus but it hasnt worked!! and I was even higher than normal after Bfast when I gave my lower lantus so I corrected the high (11.0) And then after aht my BS have been really good until NOW!!!!! I mean COME ON!!!!!!

I would back off a little on the Novorapid or whatever fastacting insulin that you have at dinner as the workout will cover some of the meal that you just had. Keep the Lantus at that level that you had before. Or try this have your dinner without the fast acting insulin and go for it at the jim as this will just burn off what you have just eaten!!

See thats just it, the only bolus i have had is with Lunch at 1:45! I have dinner after teh gym. Ive tried a snack at 4, but ive been wroking on getting my carb:bolus ratio right so I always bolus and forget that i need to allow the sugar to creep up a little.. But it would seem after my hypo at 3:45 I will be going to the gym!! sugars have crept back up to 10!! Im so there!!!!

Could be that you have hyped up you mortabillisim and that makes the insulin eazyer to work. So just back of on the bolus if you're that active and the other thing too is that you are young and fit too and I am indeed jelous of your slim body you lucky thing.
