Smile HAPPY 1 Year D'Anniversary

1 year ago today - after going in for a checkup thinking that stress from work was going to be the issueas to why I was feeling the way I was, and losing all the weght and leterally being a walking zombie- I found out that I had the D.

I honestly can't explain how much better things got after that and getting my BGs under control.

1 year already.
Wow.

I could not have done it without all you guys on this site answering my questions time and time again

Thanks

I share your sentiment, I am approaching 2 years now and I realised without this place my control goes out the window seems as long as I am reading/posting here I keep the focus and tweaking. Maybe it’s just coincidence, who knows.

Good job on your A1c's. I get my 6 month post-diagnosis A1c result this Friday, and I'm nervous as ****. I'm really looking forward to my next one though, because I've finally got things under control diet wise.

I wish I could say congrats on your one year anniversary. I don't feel I'll be doing any celebrating when it comes around, but at least we can look at those dates as the day our lives changed for the better, because we found out why we were not doing so good, and were able to fix it!

One year down, and God willing, you'll have a ton more to tell us about!

Regards,

Congrats. I'm at my 6 month mark, and so far so good. But it seems a bit long that it's only a lifetime left...
