Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh

GRRRR

I'm soooo sick of being high! All day... sky freaking high. ketones were high this morn, but ok now.. 0.2

I'm not sick, i'm a little stressed, but not bad.
I've changed my insulins, and been injecting in different sites (not pumping, it got thrown at the wall a couple weeks ago now)
I'm in one heck of a foul mood though....

Kit,

I can relate to the foul mood that highs can cause, especially the HI readings. Were you having set problems with the pump? If there is anything specific you need help with, "holler"!

Hugs to you.

I know exactly what you mean. What really pisses me off is when i know i bolused for the right amount of carbs. I've noticed it really depends on the infusion site for me. My usual sites don't seem to be absorbing as well, i've been experimenting with some different spots and it seems to help.

I had a killer week when my honeymoon period of Lantus was over.

I had to completely re-adjust my basals and completely crank up the pump. Luckily i hit the mark right away, and have only needed very slight readjustment since.

Just hang in there, your numbers will be back soon and you'll be happy as ever

Good luck!

I guess that you are more settled now. I am so pissed at my endo who has written a script for insulin in the hospital prescription so now I have to pay full price.
