Question Carbohydrate Book

Hello. I was wondering if anyone has a good resource they use for Carbohydrate Counting. I am starting on the pump and it was suggested that OI get a book of carb values, but I have no idea which ones are best. If you know of any, please let me know!
Thanks!

My favorite is The Calorie King. It's small and has many brand names. Easy to calculate by finding something similar.

Calorie King is defintely the best I have seen. I carried that thing everywhere when I was first diagnosed. If you have a PDA/smartphone, you can also get nutrition info on your phone by going to mobile.calorieking.com.

If you get a Cozmo, Animas, or Omnipod the food database is built in.

Thanks for the advice. I'll be checking Chapters to see if they have the Calrie king book and now I have another reason to ask for a smartphone for Christmas

Those take forever to fool with... the Animas at least. Plus, the one on the Animas is very limited. Don't know about the others.

I ordered a Calorie King from Amazon last weekend. Hope it is as good as all the boards say it is.

On top of that, you cannot get the built-in database in every country. It certainly isn't available in the UK and I was led to believe that it is a US only. I was told it was because of FDA regulations but know little more than this...

I program my own food items into the pump, but it is limited. For the most part, I still use a combination of a nutrition scale and the 'calorie bible'.

...And through the night it's love is free
It whispers and it flirts with me
And then it takes me, hard and deep
Rolls over, farts and falls asleep

And I would wake up, feeling used
My body broken, bent, abused
But now I match it, hump for hump
I give it plenty with my pump
