Wow great job!! I know I haven't been here in awhile but I have to say Wonderful!! I actually had the same type of checkup. So what did you do? It would be interesting to see if we were the same. For me it was a lot of resisting night time things, of course all the others, but it seemed that I was more inclined to want to fall of the wagon at night.

Congrats, and best of wishes

I have never made it to the 5's without too many lows. My endo should be happy the next time we meet. I will be up in the 6's some where. No point in in tying to tell him anything.

The biggest changes for me was really counting the carbs for everything including snacks and writing it all in a journal along with my insulin amounts. I also started checking my bs 6 times a day up from 3 times a day. I was really encouraged by people on the forum, I was down on myself because I was really trying hard but could never get those A1C's down, the lesson for me is it will be the fight of a lifetime and I am not going down that easy.

Congratulations! Amazing job. This forum can be a lifesaver. Keep up the great work and keep those numbers down. You will be your doctor's model patient.

WOW!!!!! That is REALLY great!!
That gives me hope that I too can do it.
I have been watching my foods more closely too, but maybe I should write then down to find patterns.

Tha patterns where a big key, just certain foods for me really gave me problems White rice and oatmeal are two very bad ones for me.

Another great of example of support from this site and test, Test and More TESTING along with watching what you eat is the perfect combination of great A1Cs.
