Taking low dose testosterone

Anyone know anything about this? I've been reading a bit about this lately, since I'm planning on taking very low dose testosterone for a period to see how it affects my diabetes and everything else.

I've noticed that when I've lost a bit of fat, increased in strenth, my diabetes is almost a cakewalk. So with low dose testosterone (like many people get today) wouldn't it be better?

Please, don't let this turn into a "steroids are bad" type of discussion. I want to learn from this and hopefully get my diabetes under even better control.

I use androgel for my low testosterone problem. I apply it once a day. I have had great success with increasing my energy level with it. Since I started my diabetes treatment at the same time it is hard to say if it has improved my bg. I do manage to control my bg thru diet alone though, so it may be helping.
