Type 1 and breast cancer and Hashimoto's disease

I am type 1 for 29 years (now 54 years old). Then, in 2001, ıt was detected that there was a tumour in my left breast. It was an early stage (size <1 cm; not jumped to lymph nodes and not spreaded to another part; Grade 2; ER+) and got partial mastectomy; lymph nodules were taken out. Chemotherapy, radiation therapy and hormone therapy (tamoxifen for 2 years; then 3 years femara) were given. I was lucky as being at the University; and I was lucky as I tolerated well all stages of these and my husband was always supportive and kindness as well as today. Now 7 years are over. I do not have any problem. I have follow-up tests, at the beginning for 3 months, then every six months, and now some of them for every six months and others every year -continue. 1 year ago I am diagnosed as Hashimoto's disease. Now on Euthyrox (150 mcg and 75 mcg every other days). I am not over weight, however have a few kilograms to go.
I am pharmacist and working at the faculty of Pharmacy as Professor. So I am always involved in these subjects and treatments; discussing with doctors about all sometimes.
Although I have tolerated most of tha stages, I am anxious for reoccurence of cancer, as well as symptoms of Hashimoto's become unveiled. I think, to be diabetic and to use insulin (as a growth hormone;mitogenic agent) are important risk factors.
However there is nothing to do for that and to be anxious may invite them back. I know I should be strong as before, try not to think about all. Just try to feel how life is so nice..I think, today is a depressed day for me, without a reason. Just want to share and talk more with guys as you are..
