Each insurance policy is different. If you have Horizon through your employer, it will depend on what your employer negotiated. For some it may be covered and for others it is not.

Call your insurance company and find out what has been negotiated.

From what I was told by Insulet Corporation was they do not contract with any insurance company. If it is going to be covered, it will be covered out of your out of network part of your insurance. However Insulet Corporation has now partnered with Edgepark to supply the Omnipod for those who don't wish to use their out of network part of their insurance, and are in network with Edgepark.

As a company I don't care fore Edgepark, however will deal with them to get the pod in network, untill others start to carry it.
