Question I was wondering...

I just took my bloodsugar because I thought I had that headache you get when your sugar gets too high. I thought I was going to need some insulin because my fasting was 70 and I had a big old piece of cinnamon roll (with oodles of that icing). I did take Novolog before I ate, but I thought I may not have taken enough. Anyway...so, the test I did just now is approximately 1 hour after I ate. If my goal is to be less than 180 at 1 hour and less than 150 at 2, should I be concerned that my result was 82 at 1 hour?

I do not know if this is what happened, but I will get a headache after treating a low. I always think of it as a hangover.

Those cinnamon rolls have a ton of fat and that may have slowed down the carbs, which is why you weren't high at the 1 hour mark. Did you test at two hours, or just before lunch?
