TRUEone

Has anyone tried the TRUEone meter, and strips combined. I got one, earlier this week. It is a great little system. Very compact and takes up very little space. It was £14, with 50 strips. When strips are used up the whole unit is thrown away. No coding problems here. It's a great set-up to keep in car or at office. I thought the price great. It is available on prescription.

I think the TRUEone system is only available in the UK. In the U.S., we have one that is exactly the same with the meter in the top of the stip vial. I don't remember what it is called. Great little compact system.

It's the Walgreens True brand here in the US. I got it because I forgot my meter while travelling. It was very inaccurate for me and I ditched it quick.

In Canada and the U.S. it's called the Sidekick by Home Diagnostics. I think I paid $20 for a package which included 50 strips. It seemed to work okay for a disposable.
