I saw the glucowatch at the ADA convention last summer. They are not a replacement for the finger stick test, because they are not accurate enough. I believe you have to get a prescription from your doctor to get one. It has a pad that you change daily, that is in contact with your skin, and it reads the fluids between the cells in your skin to track your bg. I believe it tests every 10 minutes, which would be great for tracking when you go up and down. They have a website:
