Anti GAD and new hba1c

Went to see my diabetes-nurse today, not getting a new doctor just yet, my old one got relocated.

Anyway, new hba1c was 5.4%, diappointed really, but I haven't been taking much insulin lately, because of the diet. So I guess it's more "normal" now than when I take insulin.

I asked about my anti-gad test. The reference was 0.08% and I had 0.09%. No idea what that reference thing is, but 0.01% over it must be little. Probably crept up since I took the test.

Since I've ended my diet, and now back to "normal" eating, I feel so much more like a bad diabetic. My carb ratio is out of whack, seems like I have to readjust and my body doesn't like the carbs anymore. Hopefully I'll get a better handle on things when I've settled into a nice routine.

5.4% A1c is awesome. It seems like you are doing very well at controlling your diabetes. Keep up the great work.

Wish I could say my A1c was 5.4%, but I can't!
Great job!
