Pedicures

Hi it's getting warmer here in CA and I just wanted to know if anyone has ever had a problem when getting a pedicure? I know some places have signs up asking you to let them know if you have some type of health problem but not all places have them. I get them once in a while and have never had a problem (knock on wood) but is it ok to get them? What do you guys think?

Personally i get them all the time and have never had a problem. You just need to make sure that you let them know that you are a diabetic and if they use any tools that could end up cutting your feet that well PLEASE DONT USE THEM.. I mean other than that i think your good to go....

And the weather is CRAZY hot down here if Florida... I know where your coming from... Its like way over 100

I get one every once in awhile just cause I am lazy and hate cutting those claws of mine. I dont like them to use that cheese grater thing on my heals. Thats a guy thing I guess.

The cleanliness of the place has to be top notch. Make sure they clean and sterilyze the tubs really good. I make sure the tools are sterlyzed.

I watch them open fresh tools and scrub the tubs every time I go.

The biggest threat is infection from dirty equiptment.

Absolutely love getting them....and ditto to what Big City said. I have only one place I go to. They are consistently clean and pleasant. I watch them open the sealed package of tools and watch them later to see how they sterilize, so it's all good. I looooovvvvve for my tootsies to be pampered!
