| | | Miracle? Try miracle berries I just recieved some of these tabs, got them from the official site.
If you don't know what miracle berries are, they turn sour into sweet basically.
Lemon juice in water = lemonade.
Anyway, I've tried green apples, oranges, lemons, kiwis, blueberries, strawberries and a couple more things I don't know the english words for.
All I can say, wow. My parents tried them, my mom said it got too sweet, while my dad liked it. I'm going to pass them out to friends and co workers so they can taste for themselves.
This is really a great tool for diabetics. I drink nothing but water, so sometimes I get really tired of it, and go buy a diet soda, which I don't really like because of all the artificial sweeteners and such. A few drops of lemon juice in water = instant sweet lemonade.
Or just eat some blueberries on toast and it's like you've added sugar to it.
Really happy about it, because now I can eat healthy stuff and get a fix on that sweet tooth that bugs me these days.

| | | I saw a show about these on "Food Detective." The subjects took the berry then drank vinegar shots which they said tasted sweet. They also several different foods to see how they tasted. I'd like to try them....anything to make broccolli and cauliflower taste good would be great.
I think they should make it into a spray for east of use.

As for the berry tabs, I still don't understand why everything has to be sweet to be considered good-tasting. I must be strange! |

I must be strange! | I don't know that either would taste better sweet....but I don't see that it could taste any worse! I've steamed them with salt/pepper, even tried it with cheese (which makes just about everything better IMO)...I just do not like the taste or the texture. Right now, I "puree" broccolli and add it to my spaghetti sauce or soup. I just wish I could learn to enjoy it, as it is so good for you.

| | | I love just about every vegetable. Making them sweet would be weird! As for the miracle berry, I think I will just pass on it all together and drink water. I do find it so interesting how many people prefer sweet over sour. My husband HATES anything that is sour. He is not fond of fruit because of his dislike for sour. He also doesn't like things too sweet. I agree with him on the too sweet, but I love sour candy, sour fruit. I adore grapefruit, lemons, anything sour.
What do they put in these tablets to change the flavor?

1. Steam or boil broccoli/cauliflower until just tender (not too soft, mind you) and refresh it in cold water.
2. Heat olive oil and saute garlic until golden, then add bits of bacon and pine nuts until bacon is cooked and the pine nuts golden. Cut the broccoli/cauliflower into small florets. Lastly add the broccoli/cauliflower and cook for another minute or so but make sure they do not become too soft.
Of course soup is always good. I especially love broccoli and blue cheese/gorgonzola soup. | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
